Basketball Recap: North Huron Warriors vs. Kingston Cardinals

North Huron lost against Kingston back in February of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The North Huron Warriors had to suffer through a 55-25 loss at the hands of the Kingston Cardinals. While losing is never fun, the Warriors can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Michigan basketball rankings (they are ranked 628th, while the Cardinals are ranked 281st).

Kingston got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Austin DeRoseau out in front who went 7 for 13 en route to 15 points and seven boards. The team also got some help courtesy of Peyton Harrington, who posted eight points in addition to eight assists and six rebounds.

This is the second loss in a row for North Huron and nudges their season record down to 9-7. As for Kingston, their record is now 11-5.

Looking ahead, North Huron will be playing in front of their home fans against Dryden at 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Kingston, a feisty cat fight will be fought when the Cardinals challenge the Wildcats at 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
