Volleyball Recap: The Meadows School Finds Playoff Glory Versus Boulder City

It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but The Meadows School had no problem doing just that on Wednesday. Everything went their way against the Boulder City Eagles as they made off with a 3-0 victory. This was a revenge game for the Mustangs: when they faced off against the Eagles last Wednesday, they had to take a 3-0 loss.

The Meadows School found their leader in sophomore Adyson Watkins, who had 12 digs and two assists. Watkins is on a roll when it comes to digs, as she's now had 12 or more in each of the last five games she's played.

The Meadows School was lethal from the service line and finished the match with ten aces. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Boulder City only served six.

With the win, The Meadows School broke their four-match losing streak and moved their record to 20-9. As for Boulder City, their defeat dropped their record down to 19-19.

The Meadows School wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 3-2 victory against Moapa Valley on the 1st. Boulder City does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
