Paramus Catholic fell just short of Donovan Catholic by a score of 31-28. Paramus Catholic just can't catch a break and has now endured seven defeats in a row.
Paramus Catholic's lost despite a true team effort on the offense, the best among them being Crew Colon, who threw for 178 yards and two touchdowns. Another player making a difference was Xavier Williams, who rushed for 75 yards and a touchdown.
Donovan Catholic found their leader in underclassman Najee Calhoun, who rushed for 54 yards and two touchdowns.
Paramus Catholic bumped their record down to 3-8 with that defeat, which was their fourth straight on the road. That rough patch could be blamed on the team's offensive performance across that stretch, as they only averaged 13.5 points per game. As for Donovan Catholic, their victory bumped their record up to 8-2.
