Softball Recap: St. Joseph Has No Trouble Against Mainland Regional

St. Joseph got themselves on the board against Mainland Regional on Tuesday, but Mainland Regional never followed suit. They put the hurt on the Mustangs with a sharp 10-0 win. The Wildcats might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won four games by seven runs or more this season.

St. Joseph has been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 7-2 record this season. The victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 10.2 runs over those games. As for Mainland Regional, they dropped their record down to 2-9 with the loss, which was their fourth straight at home.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: St. Joseph beat the Mustangs by a score of 11-0 later that day.
