Garretson came into Thursday's match looking for another win against Flandreau, but Lily Arnold wouldn't allow it. The Fliers came out on top against the Blue Dragons by a score of 3-1 on Thursday for which the team can thank Arnold, who had 27 digs and two aces. She is on a roll when it comes to digs, as she's now had 14 or more in each of the last four games she's played.

The win didn't come easy: Garretson scored at least 21 points in every set. The match finished with set scores of 25-21, 25-23, 22-25, 25-23.

Flandreau's record is now 3-7. As for Garretson, their defeat was their sixth straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 1-9.

Flandreau wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next game, a 3-1 loss against Beresford on the 13th. As for Garretson, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 3-1 defeat against Parker/Marion on the 13th.
