Soccer Recap: Rabun Gap-Nacoochee's Loss Ends Four-Game Winning Streak on the Road

After flying high against Carolina Day last Tuesday, Rabun Gap-Nacoochee came back down to earth. The Eagles lost 7-0 to the Westminster Wildcats on Thursday. Rabun Gap-Nacoochee were red-hot offensively heading into the contest (they scored no less than four goals in the four games prior), but Westminster's defense proved too tough.

Rabun Gap-Nacoochee's loss ended a four-game streak of away wins and brought them to 8-6. As for Westminster, their win bumped their record up to 4-7.

Looking ahead, Rabun Gap-Nacoochee is taking a road trip to challenge Asheville School (Independent) at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Westminster, they will look to defend their home pitch on Monday against Centennial at 5:30 p.m.
