Softball Recap: Wednesday's Loss Ends Franklin Central's Winning Streak

Franklin Central and Center Grove squared off in some playoff action on Wednesday, but Franklin Central had to settle for second. They took a 3-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Trojans. The shutout was out of character for the Flashes seeing as the last time the team failed to score was back in April.

Franklin Central saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Adelaide Hubbard, who went 2-for-3 with one double.

The loss snapped Franklin Central's winning streak at four games and leaves them with a 19-10 record. As for Center Grove, the victory was the 13th in a row for them, bringing their record up to 23-3.

As of now, neither Franklin Central nor the Trojans have any future games scheduled.
