On Tuesday, Mariner faced American Heritage in a battle between two of the state's top teams. The Mariner Tritons narrowly escaped with a victory as the team sidled past the American Heritage Patriots 2-1. For the Tritons, this counts as revenge for the 0-0 win the Patriots walked away with the last time they faced one another back in February of 2023.
