Volleyball Game Preview: San Mateo Bearcats vs. Mills Vikings + How To Watch

The San Mateo Bearcats will head out to face off against the Mills Vikings at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. The two teams are sauntering into the matchup backed by comfortable wins in their prior games.

Mills will be up against a hot San Mateo squad: the team just extended their winning streak to five. The Bearcats put the hurt on El Camino with a sharp 3-0 victory on Tuesday.

San Mateo walked away with the win (and looked especially good in the second set). The final score came out to 25-17, 25-8, 25-21.

Meanwhile, Mills got the win against Westmoor on Tuesday by a conclusive 3-0. The Vikings haven't had any issues with the Rams recently, as the game was their sixth consecutive victory against them.

The 3-0 score doesn't show just how dominant Mills was: they took every set by at least ten points. The match finished with set scores of 25-15, 25-10, 25-13.

Mills' win bumped their record up to 13-15. As for San Mateo, the victory got them back to even at 9-9.

San Mateo was able to grind out a solid win over Mills in their previous matchup back in September, winning 3-1. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Bearcats since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
