Softball Recap: Zane Trace Pioneers vs. Adena Warriors
Zane Trace took a 11-run loss the last time they faced off against Adena, but this time they managed to keep it close and that made all the difference. The Pioneers won by a run and slipped past the Warriors 2-1. This was payback for the Pioneers, who suffered a 13-2 defeat the last time these two teams met.

Brynn Wipert spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered only one earned run on three hits and racked up ten Ks. Those ten strikeouts set a new season-high mark for her.
At the plate, the team relied heavily on Haylynn Boggess-Pierce, who went 2-for-3 with one home run. That home run marked the first that she launched this season. The team also got some help courtesy of Maddison Will, who scored a run and stole a base while going 1-for-2.
