Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Uintah). They put the hurt on the Payson Lions with a sharp 4-0 win on Friday. The victory was a breath of fresh air for Uintah as it put an end to their five-game losing streak.

They hit Payson with a three-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Christian Candelas (2), Jair Perry, and Kaleb Billings.

Uintah's win was their first in the region, bumping their region record up to 1-4 and their overall record up to 4-7. As for Payson, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-6.

Uintah wasted no time getting back out on the pitch and has already played their next matchup, a 7-3 victory against Juan Diego Catholic on the 21st. As for Payson, they also didn't take long to hit the pitch again: they've already played their next game, a 5-0 loss against Mountain View on the 22nd.
