Softball Recap: Hayfork Comes Up Short

Hayfork was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their ninth straight loss dating back to last season. They came up short against the Princeton Eagles, falling 14-4. That's two games in a row now that the Timberjacks have lost by exactly ten runs.

Hayfork's defeat dropped their record down to 0-5. As for Princeton, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 6-3-1.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: the Eagles beat Hayfork by a score of 21-13 later that day.
