Football Game Preview: Lake Buena Vista Vipers vs. Windermere Wolverines + How To Watch

The Lake Buena Vista Vipers will challenge the Windermere Wolverines at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.

Lake Buena Vista's offense might be in the hot seat on Friday considering what happened against West Orange on Friday. They were outmatched by the Warriors and fell 49-0. While losing is never fun, the Vipers can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Florida football rankings (they are ranked 458th, while the Warriors are ranked 52nd).

Meanwhile, everything came up roses for Windermere against East River on Friday as the squad secured a 45-6 victory. Fans of the Wolverines have seen this all before: every one of the games they've played this season has ended in a blowout of 20+ points.

Windermere's win came from a few key players Lake Buena Vista will need to keep an eye on. One of the most notable was Jaylen Davis, who picked up 116 receiving yards and one score, and also punched in one touchdown on the ground. Those 116 receiving yards gave him a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Henry Rogers, who rushed for 48 yards and a pair of TDs.

Windermere was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 216 rushing yards. That's the most rushing yards they've managed all season.

Windermere didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off two passes before the game was over. The picks came courtesy of Braylen Speed and Eddie Russomanno. Elijah Mosby was another major factor on D, picking up two sacks and making five total tackles.

Lake Buena Vista's loss dropped their record down to 3-2. As for Windermere, their win bumped their record up to 5-0.

Lake Buena Vista took a serious blow against Windermere in their previous meeting back in September of 2024, falling 42-7. Thankfully for the Vipers, Jack Reilly (who threw for 244 yards and three touchdowns on only 15 passes) won't be suiting up this time. Will that be enough to change the final result?
