Preview: Bellefonte Raiders vs. Somerset Eagles
Bellefonte has been on the road for three straight, but on Friday they'll finally head home. They will take on The Somerset Eagles at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Bellefonte will be strutting in after a victory while Somerset will be coming in after a loss.
Last Friday, Bellefonte won a match that couldn't have been any closer, slipping by Huntingdon 14-13.
Liam Halterman was the offensive standout of the match as he threw for 108 yards and a touchdown.
Meanwhile, Somerset's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Friday after their fourth straight loss. They were outmatched by Forest Hills at home and fell 53-13. Somerset was in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 40-0.
Although Somerset took the loss, they still got scores from Lane Lambert and Carter Dunmyer.
Bellefonte's victory bumped their record up to 1-8. As for Somerset, their loss was their fourth straight at home, which dropped their overall record down to 3-6.
