Lamar had already won three in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 13.3 runs) and they went ahead and made it four on Friday. They walked away with a 7-3 victory over the Baxter Springs Lions.
Lexy Stephen was a major factor no matter where she played. She looked comfortable on the mound, striking out 11 batters over seven innings while giving up three earned runs off seven hits. Stephen was also big at the plate, scoring a run and stealing two bases while going 1-for-3.
