Softball Recap: Monroe County Takes a Loss

Monroe County was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their eighth straight defeat. They lost 15-0 to the Clinton County Bulldogs. Unfortunately, that's the third time they've come up short against the Bulldogs this season, with their most recent loss being a 11-0 defeat back in April.

Monroe County's loss dropped their record down to 3-15-1. As for Clinton County, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 22-7.

Coincidentally, Monroe County and Clinton County will both be playing Russell County the next time they take the field. The Falcons will head out to face the Lakers at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday, while the Bulldogs will host them at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday.
