Volleyball Recap: Trinity Christian Comes Up Short

Trinity Christian lost against University back in October of 2019, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Warriors fell 2-0 to the Hawks.

While Trinity Christian was not able to make it on the board, they still kept things close, especially in the first set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-23, 25-16.

When it comes to explaining why Trinity Christian lost, don't look at Lainey Jackson. Despite the final result, she had 16 digs and two assists. Jackson has been hot for a while, having posted 12 or more digs the last nine times she's played.

Keira Dunn was the offensive standout of the match as she had four aces and three digs. That's the most aces she has posted since back in October of 2024.

Trinity Christian has traveled a rocky road recently, having lost six of their last seven contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 2-8 record this season. As for University, their victory was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 14-5-2.
