Baseball Recap: Medway Find Success

Medway won the last time they faced Millis and things went their way on Wednesday too. The Mustangs' pitcher stepped up to hand the Mohawks a 5-0 shutout.

Not much got past Johnny Farrell, who gave up just four hits and racked up nine Ks to keep Millis off the board. Farrell also tossed no earned runs, which is notable because Medway is undefeated when he allows at most three earned runs, but 5-7 otherwise.

At the plate, Jackson Duguay was excellent, going 2-for-3 with three RBI and one double. That's the most hits he has posted since back in April. Another player making a difference was Eli Kell, who went 1-for-2 with one run and one double.

Medway's victory bumped their record up to 12-7. As for Millis, they dropped their record down to 4-13 with the loss, which was their fifth straight at home.

Coming up, Medway will venture away from home to square off against Millbury at 4:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Millis, they will welcome Bellingham at 11:00 a.m. on Sunday.
