Sandburg and Lockport are an even 3-3 against one another since September of 2015, but not for long. The Eagles will be playing at home against the Porters at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Sandburg will aim to continue their three-game streak of scoring more points each contest than the last.

Sandburg fought the good fight in their overtime game against Naperville North on Friday but wound up with a less-than-desirable result. They and the Huskies were almost perfectly matched up, but they suffered a 36-35 loss. The Eagles were up 28-14 in the second quarter but couldn't hold on to the lead.

Meanwhile, Lockport beat Naperville Central 14-7 on Friday. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Porters.

Having lost for the first time this season, Sandburg fell to 5-1. As for Lockport, the win got them back to even at 3-3.

Sandburg skirted past Lockport 30-28 in their previous meeting back in September of 2023. Will the Eagles repeat their success, or do the Porters have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
