Volleyball Recap: Norton Panthers vs. West Branch Warriors

It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but Norton had no problem doing just that on Saturday. They came out on top against the West Branch Warriors by a score of 3-1. Winning may never get old, but the Panthers sure are getting used to it with their fifth in a row.

Norton was especially dominant in the first set. The match finished with set scores of 25-15, 25-21, 20-25, 25-18.

Eden Starr paced Norton's offense, picking up 15 kills. Starr got some help from Lillian Flohr and her 40 assists. Ava Bethel and Kennedy Cooper kept things locked in from the service line: the pair finished with two aces apiece.

Norton has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 14 of their last 15 matches, which provided a nice bump to their 21-3 record this season. As for West Branch, their loss dropped their record down to 17-8.

Norton will square off against Holy Name at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Norton is looking to tack on another W to their five-game streak on the road. West Branch does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
