The Dr. Phillips Panthers will head out to face off against the Cypress Creek Bears at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. One thing working in Dr. Phillips' favor is that they have posted at least ten runs in their last four matches.
Two weeks ago, Dr. Phillips earned a 10-6 win over Colonial.

Madison Collazo spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered three earned (and four unearned) runs on three hits and racked up nine Ks. She has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't tossed less than six strikeouts in three consecutive appearances.
At the plate, Samantha Rome was incredible, scoring four runs and stealing three bases while going 2-for-5. She also hit a triple, marking her first of the season. Briana Lohr was another key player, scoring two runs and stealing two bases while going 2-for-4.
Meanwhile, Cypress Creek made easy work of Celebration on Monday and carried off an 18-6 victory. The result was nothing new for the Bears, who have now won five contests by ten runs or more so far this season.
Sophia Gonzales and Britney Freitez did most of the damage at the plate: Gonzales went 2-for-3 with three runs, four RBI, and one triple, while Freitez scored four runs and stole three bases while getting on base in four of her five plate appearances. Those four runs gave Freitez a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Alondra Lozada, who scored two runs while going 2-for-4.
Cypress Creek was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .448. That was just more of the same: they've now posted a batting average of .367 or higher in four consecutive games.
Cypress Creek's win was their fourth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 9-1. Those victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 12.5 runs over those games. As for Dr. Phillips, their record is now 6-1.
Tuesday's matchup will be a test for both teams' pitchers. Dr. Phillips hasn't had any issues making contact this season, having earned a batting average of .457. However, it's not like Cypress Creek struggles in that department as they've averaged .356. With both teams so capable at the plate, fans should be ready for an impressive hitting performance.
Dr. Phillips couldn't quite get it done against Cypress Creek in their previous meeting back in February as they fell 5-2. Can Dr. Phillips avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
