Basketball Recap: Toronto Comes Up Short

After flying high against Caldwell last Tuesday, Toronto came back down to earth. The Toronto Red Knights fell to the Catholic Central Crusaders 43-38. The Red Knights were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Crusaders apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in February of 2024.

Toronto's defeat dropped their record down to 16-6. As for Catholic Central, they are on a roll lately: they've won nine of their last ten games, which provided a nice bump to their 18-3 record this season.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Toronto will host Buckeye Trail at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Buckeye Trail will roll in looking for their fourth straight win, something Toronto surely won't give up without a fight. As for Catholic Central, they will be taking part in a tournament against Strasburg-Franklin at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
