            Softball Recap: Woodland Wolves vs. El Camino Eagles        
        
		
        
        
            Woodland was not able to break out of their rough patch  on Thursday as the team picked up their third straight  defeat. They took  a  9-4 hit to the loss column at the hands of the El Camino Eagles. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Eagles this season, as they also lost their prior matchup  11-5  back in March.
  Sofia Sanchez made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and  went a perfect 2-for-2 with one  home run and two  RBI. That  home run was  her first of the season.  Presley Pinegar was another key player,  scoring two  runs while going 2-for-4.
Woodland's loss dropped their record down to 4-14. As for El Camino,  the  win made it two in a row for them and  bumps their season record up to 4-9.
 Looking ahead, Woodland will welcome Dixon  at 4:30  p.m.  on Monday. The Rams will roll in looking for their  fourth straight  victory, something the Wolves surely won't give up without a fight. As for El Camino, they will have some time to savor their  win since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Casa Roble at 4:30  p.m.  on  the 22nd.
