Softball Recap: Aloha Takes a Loss

Aloha fought the good fight in their extra-innings game against Westview on Monday but wound up with a less-than-desirable result. They fell just short of the Wildcats by a score of 9-8. The Warriors just can't catch a break and have now endured three losses in a row.

Nellie Foust made the most of her time in the batter's box despite the final result and went 2-for-4 with one home run, two runs, and two RBI.

Aloha's defeat dropped their record down to 5-9. As for Westview, with the win, they broke their nine-game losing streak and moved their record to 2-9.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Aloha will take on rival Southridge at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Meanwhile, Westview is set to challenge their familiar foe Jesuit at 5:00 p.m. on Friday.
