Football Recap: Plant Starts Season with Win Against Wiregrass Ranch + How To Watch

Plant gave their fans exactly what they wanted out of a home opener on Friday. They came out on top against the Wiregrass Ranch Bulls by a score of 28-20. The Panthers haven't had any issues with the Bulls recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive win against them.

Plant's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Tripp Brown led the charge by throwing for 142 yards and three TDs on only 13 passes, while also picking up 54 receiving yards.
