Softball Recap: Gallatin Green Wave vs. University School of Jackson Bruins
Gallatin's game on Monday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Tuesday. Everything went their way against the University School of Jackson Bruins as the Gallatin Green Wave made off with an 11-5 win. The high-scoring effort was just what the Green Wave needed considering they were shut out in their previous match.

Riley Tate was a major factor no matter where she played. On the mound, she tossed four innings while giving up just one earned (and four unearned) runs off three hits. She has been consistent recently: she hasn't given up more than two walks in four consecutive appearances. She was also solid in the batter's box, going 2-for-3 with three RBI.
In other batting news, Bailey Daughtry was excellent, scoring two runs while going 2-for-3. Jordyn Lilley also deserves some recognition as she hit her first double of the season.
Gallatin now has a winning record of 3-2.
Looking ahead, Gallatin will square off against Buckhorn at 12:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Gallatin is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 9.6 runs per game this season. As for University School of Jackson, they will look to defend their home field on Monday against Chester County at 5:00 p.m.
