Pymatuning Valley has no trouble against Bristol

The Pymatuning Valley Lakers had to travel to play their first game of the season, but the final result was worth the trip. They blew past Bristol 47-27. That result was just more of the same for these two, as Pymatuning Valley also won the last time the pair played back in January.
Pymatuning Valley's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Mae Struna led the charge by scoring 8 points along with 7 rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Leah DeMoss, who scored 8 points along with 7 steals and 6 rebounds.
Pymatuning Valley's win bumped their record up to 1-0. As for Bristol, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-1.
Pymatuning Valley will be playing in front of their home fans against Harding at 6:15 p.m. on Monday. Hopefully Harding focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 31 on Thursday. As for Bristol, they will head out on the road to face off against Maplewood at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday.
