Newport - Bellevue was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their sixth straight defeat. They were two points away from ending the streak, but they lost a 43-41 heartbreaker at the hands of the Lincoln Lynx.

When it comes to explaining why Newport - Bellevue lost, don't look at Portia Polo. Despite the final result, she posted 22 points and four steals. The match was Polo's fifth in a row with at least 20 points. Chloe Tat was another key player, putting up eight points and three steals.

Newport - Bellevue's loss dropped their record down to 6-17. As for Lincoln, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 4-15.
