It was a good run, but Greenbrier unfortunately witnessed the end of their five-game winning streak on Saturday. While the 0-0 score might suggest a draw, it was the McIntosh Chiefs who were credited with the victory. The McIntosh Chiefs got it done in the shootout by posting five goals to the Greenbrier Wolfpack's four. Having soared to a lofty nine goals in the game before, the Wolfpack's shutout was a dramatic turnaround.

Greenbrier's loss dropped their record down to 7-2. As for McIntosh, their win bumped their record up to 8-4.

Coming up, Greenbrier will be playing at home against Lakeside at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for McIntosh, they will face off against Newnan at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Newnan knows how to get goals on the board -- the team has finished with four goals or more in their past four matchups -- so hopefully McIntosh likes a good challenge.
