Basketball Game Preview: Eldred Yellowjackets vs. SS Seward

Eldred is 1-9 against SS Seward since December of 2018 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Monday. The Eldred Yellowjackets will be playing at home against SS Seward at 7:00 p.m. Eldred will be looking to extend their current six-game winning streak.

On Saturday, Eldred slipped by Fallsburg 52-51.

Meanwhile, SS Seward came up short against Rhinebeck on February 2nd and fell 59-50. The loss continues a trend for SS Seward in their matchups with Rhinebeck: they've now lost five in a row.

SS Seward's defeat dropped their record down to 1-3. As for Eldred, they pushed their record up to 11-3 with the win, which was their fifth straight on the road.

Everything went Eldred's way against SS Seward in their previous meeting back in December of 2024, as Eldred made off with a 61-40 victory. Does Eldred have another victory up their sleeve, or will SS Seward turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
