League recap: Union Springs extends winning streak with victory over Moravia

Union Springs extended the longest winning streak in Section 4 D Division IX this week by beating Moravia, 38-12. The victory was the fourth in a row for the team.

Union Springs moved up to 306 from 442 in the state rankings this week, the biggest jump in the league. Jay Noonan's team climbed the ranks as a result of a 38-12 win over the Blue Devils.

A big matchup in the league this week will be when Seton Catholic Central takes on Groton. The Saints are currently in fourth, while the Indians are in second.
