Lewisburg had won 20 straight at home dating back to last season, but on Thursday they bumped up to 22-8 to make it 21. They were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Hernando Tigers. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 3-0 on September 9th.

Lewisburg's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Rylee Blanchard led the charge by getting ten digs. That's the most digs Blanchard has posted since back in August.

As for Hernando, with the defeat, they broke their three-match winning streak and moved their record to 15-13. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest loss they have suffered since September 9th.

Hernando's defeat came despite a true team effort with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Camille Baird, who had 20 digs and one assist. Baird has been hot, having posted ten or more digs the last six times she's played. Amberlee Holley was another key player, getting 11 digs and 11 assists.

Lewisburg wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 2-1 win against DeSoto Central on the 27th. As for Hernando, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 2-0 loss against Lake Cormorant on the 27th.
