Volleyball Recap: Los Osos Takes a Loss

Los Osos was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They lost 3-0 to the Etiwanda Eagles. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Eagles this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-1 back in March.

While Los Osos had to settle for second, they sure made a game of it, scoring at least 20 points in every set they played. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-20, 25-23, 25-22.

Los Osos' loss dropped their record down to 10-16. As for Etiwanda, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 11-13.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Los Osos is set to square off against their familiar foe Claremont at 4:45 p.m. on Wednesday. Meanwhile, Etiwanda will challenge rival Damien at 4:45 p.m. on Wednesday.
