Volleyball Recap: Friday's Win Is Fountain-Fort Carson's Eighth in Last Ten Outings

Fountain-Fort Carson saw some tournament action on Friday. They walked away with a 3-1 victory over the Eagle Valley Devils.

Fountain-Fort Carson had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first set, they turned around to win the next three. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 21-25, 25-20, 25-19, 28-26.

Despite the loss, Eagle Valley still got an impressive performance from Kaitlyn Garvey, who had three digs and two aces. Another player making a difference was Reese Wright, who had 11 digs.

Fountain-Fort Carson is on a roll lately: they've won eight of their last ten matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 13-7 record this season. As for Eagle Valley, they are on a six-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 7-12.
