There's no place like home for Sugar-Salem, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Saturday. They were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the American Falls Beavers on Thursday. The Diggers haven't had any issues with the Beavers recently, as the game was their seventh consecutive victory against them.

While Sugar-Salem won a shutout, things came down to the wire in the third set they played. The match finished with set scores of 25-18, 25-11, 25-23.

Sugar-Salem now has a winning record of 4-3.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Sugar-Salem will square off against Snake River at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Diggers are facing the Panthers at the right time seeing as the Panthers are stuck on a three-game losing streak. As for American Falls, they will have a little extra prep time after the defeat as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Rockland at 7:00 p.m. on September 8.
