Basketball Recap: King Sets Scoring Season-High Against Kent School

Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask King). They were the clear victor by a 76-53 margin over the Kent School Lions on Friday. Perhaps unsurprisingly given the team's high-flying offense, the game also marked the team's biggest win of the season.

Jonovan Bracey had an outrageously good game as he dropped a double-double on 22 points and 11 rebounds. George Mccormack was another key player, putting up 16 points.

King was working as a unit and finished the game with 18 assists. That's the most assists they've managed all season.

King now has a winning record of 4-3.

King has already played their next contest, an 81-76 loss against Kingswood Oxford on the 21st. As for Kent School, they will have a little extra prep time after the defeat as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on St. Luke's at 2:30 p.m. on January 25, 2025.
