Stephen Williams leads Escambia County to victory over W.S. Neal

 The Escambia County Blue Devils won the last time they faced the W.S. Neal Eagles, and things went their way  on Thursday too. Escambia County was the clear victor by a  50-27 margin over W.S. Neal. Given Escambia County's advantage  in MaxPreps' Alabama basketball rankings  (they are ranked 118th, while W.S. Neal is ranked 364th), the result  wasn't entirely unexpected.
 It was another big night for  Stephen Williams, who  dropped  a double-double on 21 points and 11  rebounds. That makes it five consecutive games in which  he has scored at least 25% of Escambia County's points. The team also got some help courtesy of  Lorenzo  Arnold jr., who  scored 11 points along with 3  steals.
 Escambia County's victory bumped their record up to 4-1. As for W.S. Neal, they are  on a four-game losing streak  that has dropped them down to 1-6.
 Escambia County will square off against T.R. Miller at 7:30  p.m.  on Friday. W.S. Neal won't have much time to rest: their next  match is against Flomaton at 4:00  p.m.  on December 8th.
