Volleyball Recap: McFarland Comes Up Short

McFarland was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their 16th straight loss. They came up short against the Shafter Generals, falling 3-0. Unfortunately, that's the third time they've come up short against the Generals this season, with their most recent defeat being a 3-0 loss back in September.

McFarland's defeat dropped their record down to 3-26-1. As for Shafter, the win (which was their 24th in a row) raised their record to 28-1.

Looking ahead, McFarland will face off against Taft at 6:15 p.m. on Monday. As for Shafter, they will square off against Delano at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The last three games the Tigers have played have been within one set, so don't be surprised if it's a close one.
