Baseball Recap: Tupelo's Win Ends Four-Game Losing Streak on the Road

Tupelo came out on top against DeSoto Central on Thursday thanks in part to the team's impressive five-run fifth inning. The Golden Wave walked away with a 10-7 victory over the Jaguars. The high-flying hitting performance was a huge turnaround for the Golden Wave considering their two-run performance the contest before.

Jaeden Hill was incredible, going 3-for-4 with one home run and three runs. Those three runs gave him a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Landon Swinney, who went 1-for-4 with two RBI, one run, and one double.

Tupelo's win ended a four-game drought on the road and puts them at 14-14. As for DeSoto Central, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost three of their last four games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 13-12 record this season.

As of now, neither Tupelo nor DeSoto Central have any future games scheduled.
