Baseball Recap: Sotomayor Comes Up Short

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Sotomayor can now relate to. They fell 7-3 to the Port of Los Angeles Polar Bears on Tuesday. The defeat continues a trend for the Wolves in their meetings with the Polar Bears: they've now lost three in a row.

Sotomayor's loss dropped their record down to 13-7. As for Port of Los Angeles, the victory was the sixth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 14-8.

Sotomayor does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Port of Los Angeles, they will face off against Chavez at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. The two teams have allowed few runs on average (the Polar Bears 2.7, the Eagles 3.4) so any runs scored will be well earned.
