Baseball Recap: Bell Gardens Comes Up Short

Bell Gardens lost against Alhambra last Wednesday, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. Bell Gardens came up short against Alhambra, falling 12-2. That's two games in a row now that the Lancers have lost by exactly ten runs.

Bell Gardens saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Brandon Jaramillo, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with one double.

Bell Gardens has also been struggling recently as they've lost six of their last eight contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 7-8 record this season. The win (which was Alhambra's seventh in a row) raised their record to 11-2-1.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Bell Gardens will have a little extra prep time after the defeat as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Montebello at 3:30 p.m. on April 8. As for Alhambra, they will face off against Marshall at 3:00 p.m. on Thursday.
