Baseball Recap: Mount Dora Christian Academy Takes a Loss

Mount Dora Christian Academy was the 8-4 winner over Master's Academy when they last played one another back in May of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Mount Dora Christian Academy Bulldogs came up short against the Master's Academy Eagles on Tuesday, falling 13-3. The Bulldogs have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Ethan Priest was a force to be reckoned with on the mound despite the final result: he didn't allow a single earned run while striking out seven over 4.2 innings pitched.

At the plate, Mount Dora Christian Academy saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Britton Wise, who scored a run while going 2-for-3. Wise also put up a double, which was his first of the season.

Mount Dora Christian Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 2-5. As for Master's Academy, the victory got them back to even at 3-3.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Mount Dora Christian Academy and Lyman will meet in a dog eat dog contest at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Master's Academy, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Lake Howell at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
