Donna was the 29-26 winner over Pace when they last played one another back in January, but their luck changed this time around. The Donna Redskins took a 38-33 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Pace Vikings. The Redskins' defeat signaled the end of their three-game winning streak.

Pace was led to victory by Bre Nelson and Rebecca Ruiz. Nelson posted ten points along with eight rebounds and five steals, while Ruiz put up 11 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Andrea Salgado, who earned six points along with five rebounds and four steals.

Donna's loss dropped their record down to 11-9. As for Pace, with the victory, they broke their three-game losing streak and moved their record to 7-12.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Donna will get a bit of extra time to process the defeat as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Harlingen South at 2:30 p.m. on December 28th. As for Pace, they will venture away from home to square off against Porter at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Pace is facing Porter at the right time seeing as Porter is stuck on a ten-game losing streak.
