Aledo had already won 11 in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 8.3 runs) and they went ahead and made it 12 on Friday. Their pitchers stepped up to hand the Saginaw Rough Riders a 12-0 shutout. Give the Bearcats' pitching crew some credit: that's the team's third straight shutout.

Luke Sandefur looked comfortable as he didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only two hits while striking out eight over four innings pitched. He has been consistent: he hasn't given up more than two hits in five consecutive appearances.

At the plate, Aledo got a massive performance out of Lucas Nawrocki, who went a perfect 3-for-3 with one home run and four RBI. That's the most RBI Nawrocki has posted since back in April of 2025. Kyle Poindexter was another key player, going a perfect 2-for-2 with four RBI, one triple, and one run.

Aledo always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .593. That's the best OBP they've posted all season.

Aledo's record now sits at 26-4. As for Saginaw, their loss was their third straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 7-20.

Looking ahead, Aledo will look to defend their home field on Saturday against Birdville at 11:00 a.m. As for Saginaw, they will venture away from home to face off against Memorial at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday.
