Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Hauser). They took their game on Friday with ease, bagging a 79-25 win over the South Decatur Cougars. The Jets have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won 11 contests by 21 points or more this season.

Hauser's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Ledger Gelfius led the charge by going 7 for 11 on his way to 16 points and four steals. Another player making a difference was Taeshaun Tungate, who went 7 of 10 en route to 14 points and seven rebounds.

Hauser was working as a unit and finished the game with 19 assists. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as South Decatur only racked up two assists.

Lucas Ballard and Drake Scaggs certainly did their best on Friday to avoid the loss. Ballard posted 12 points and six boards, while Scaggs earned ten points.

The victory (which was Hauser's fifth in a row) raised their record to 13-2. The wins came thanks to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 29.8 points per game. As for South Decatur, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost four of their last five matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 4-11 record this season.

Hauser has already played their next game, a 72-64 loss against Batesville on the 1st. As for South Decatur, they will square off against Morristown at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. South Decatur is facing Morristown at the right time seeing as Morristown is stuck on a three-game losing streak.
