Volleyball Recap: Bella Kelsey Leads a Balanced Effort to Beat Oakwood + How To Watch

Oakwood came into Wednesday's match looking for another win against Fisher, but Brooklynn Kellems wouldn't allow it. The Bunnies came out on top against the Comets by a score of 2-0 on Wednesday for which the team can thank Kellems, who had five digs and five aces. She is also on a roll when it comes to assists, as she's now posted 16 or more in each of the last three games she's played.

While Fisher won a shutout, things came down to the wire in the first set they played. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 26-24, 25-10.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Fisher to victory, but perhaps none more so than Bella Kelsey, who had six digs and five kills. Avery Carleton was another key player, getting five digs and one block.

Kendyl Rogers and Sophia Hart certainly did their best on Wednesday to avoid the loss. Rogers had four digs and three aces, while Hart had eight digs.

Fisher's victory bumped their record up to 11-8. As for Oakwood, their defeat dropped their record down to 4-11.

Fisher wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 2-0 loss against Tremont on the 2nd. As for Oakwood, they have also already played their next contest, a 2-0 defeat against Georgetown-Ridge Farm on the 2nd.
