Jaxon Baptist Game Report: vs Socorro

Jaxon Baptist gave up the fewest earned runs he has since back in February on Tuesday. He made a splash, not allowing a single earned run and allowing only two hits over four innings pitched. He was up against Socorro and has quite the history against that squad, as he also had a great game the last time he faced them back in April of 2024.

Baptist and Coronado will face off against Eastlake at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. The Thunderbirds got just the result they wanted when they last faced the Falcons thanks in part to Baptist: he struck out eight batters over 6.1 innings while giving up three earned runs off five hits.
