Southeast Career Tech won the last time they faced Coral Academy of Science Las Vegas and things went their way on Thursday too. The Roadrunners came out on top against the Falcons by a score of 3-1. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Roadrunners.

Southeast Career Tech had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first set, they turned around to win the next three. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 21-25, 25-12, 25-18, 25-16.

Daryl Durden paced Southeast Career Tech's offense, picking up 18 kills. Durden got some help from Ashlyn Winans and her 25 assists. Eliza Melgar controlled things from the service line, finishing with six aces.

Southeast Career Tech's victory bumped their record up to 19-10. As for Coral Academy of Science Las Vegas, their loss ended a five-match streak of away wins and brought them to 16-10.

Looking ahead, Southeast Career Tech will face off against Basic at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Coral Academy of Science Las Vegas, they wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next match, a 2-0 defeat against Pine View on the 11th.
