Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Heights). They breezed past the Cesar E. Chavez Lobos to the tune of 60-0 on Thursday. The win continues a trend for the Bulldogs in their matchups with the Lobos: they've now won seven in a row.
A big part of Heights' victory came down to the chemistry between Kobe Miles and his top target Kaden Cole. Miles threw for 95 yards and four TDs while Cole picked up 74 receiving yards and three touchdowns. That's the most passing touchdowns Miles has posted since back in November of 2024. Phelan Powell helped Miles out on the ground, rushing for 69 yards and one score on only eight carries.
Heights' run defense was locked in: Cesar E. Chavez could only muster -0.3 yards per carry. While two picked up at least five total tackles, Elijah Hart stood above the rest. He made five total tackles (3.5 for loss) and snagged an interception which he returned one-yard for a touchdown.
