Cambria Heights won the last time they faced Homer-Center and things went their way on Friday too. The Highlanders blew past the Wildcats 42-7. The Highlanders might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won five games by 28 points or more this season.

It was another big night for Nolan Clawson, who rushed for 128 yards and two TDs on only 11 carries, and also picked up 40 receiving yards. Another player making a difference was Brayden DeArmitt, who picked up 68 receiving yards and one touchdown.

They were just one part of a punishing run game: Cambria Heights was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 220 rushing yards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now rushed for at least 205 rushing yards every time they've taken the field this season.

Homer-Center's loss shouldn't obscure the performances of Riley Cobaugh, who rushed for 70 yards and one score, and Gabe Cobaugh, who rushed for 93 yards and one TD on only ten carries.

Cambria Heights pushed their record up to 8-1 with the victory, which was their third straight at home. Those home wins came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 9.0 points on average over those games. As for Homer-Center, the defeat snapped their winning streak at three games and leaves them with a 6-3 record.

Cambria Heights and Homer-Center should be looking forward to their upcoming games as both have a sizable advantage in the MaxPreps Pennsylvania Rankings. The Highlanders will face off against West Shamokin at 7:00 p.m. on Friday with a big rank advantage (55 vs. 446). Meanwhile, Homer-Center (ranked 160th) will meet Portage (ranked 388th) at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
